We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer who’s proficient in Java and Kotlin, with strong AWS DevOps skills to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and resilient backend systems.

Here’s what we’re looking for you to tackle:

Development & Architecture:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement, optimize, and maintain APIs for our web and mobile platforms.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and extensibility.
  
  

AWS & DevOps:

• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications within AWS environments.
• Work with the AWS suite of tools to optimize backend performance, reduce costs, and ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience with Java/Kotlin.
• Proven experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, RDS, and related technologies.
  
  

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Deep understanding of database design, optimisation, and management.
• Proficiency with RESTful API design and development.
• Proficient in AWS DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications in AWS
